New Orleans unveils summer 2024 fam trips

New Orleans and Company is debuting the Independent Travel Advisor Summer Fam, available from June to August. It includes savings on hotels, restaurants and more.

Advisors will be able to take advantage of seasonal restaurant menus and Restaurant Week in August, when a wide range of eateries will participate in the 20th anniversary of COOLinary, an event that offers attractively priced prix-fixe lunch, dinner and brunch menus.



Frontier is offering flights and flowers sweepstakes on Mother’s Day

Frontier Airlines teamed up with Teleflora to launch a Flights and Flowers sweepstakes, which honours ten lucky winners with $1000 in flight vouchers and a floral arrangement for Mother’s Day.

Now through May 18, 2024, entrants can register for the sweepstakes online and earn extra entries by following Frontier Airlines on Facebook, Instagram and X (formerly known as Twitter) – and sharing the sweepstakes to their personal accounts.

Ten lucky winners will receive $1000 in flight vouchers, which typically covers four round-trip tickets, a bouquet from Teleflora and a one-year membership to Frontier Airlines. Discount Den.

Travellers who are 18 years of age or older, residing in any state of the United States, are eligible for the sweepstakes. The state excludes travellers from D.C., Florida and New York.

 

Expedia Group is holding events on Global Travel Advisor Day

Expedia hosted several events across the globe on May 1 to celebrate its Travel Agent Affiliate Program Partners (TAAP) for Global Travel Advisor Day. The event was held in countries like Canada, Mexico, the United States of America, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Italy. The events were conducted to mark the launch of many new products and an expansion of services.

 

Promoting Puerto Plata as a key travel destination

The Puerto Plata Tourism Cluster (CTDPP) and the Dominican Republic Association of Tourist Press (ADOMPRETUR) reaffirmed their working relationship during the 24th edition of the Dominican Annual Tourism Exchange (DATE).

During the meeting between CTDPP President Birgitt Heinsen and ADOMPRETUR President Yenny Lovera, the two organisations worked on actions to strengthen inter-institutional collaboration and develop a way to work with the news media to fulfil common tourism objectives.

ADOMPRETUR is one of the most important allies in promoting Puerto Plata, and its support and integration are vital to the effective dissemination of the values of our renewed destination brand.
